Use Chocolate/Confectionery Retailers for companies that sell chocolate and/or confections. If the only brand they sell is one they make, then the company should be listed as a
Chocolatier or
Confectioner (or both).
Use Chocolate Distributors for companies that import/distribute chocolate (bars, couverture, confections) but do not manufacture chocolate. For example: While you can purchase chocolate directly from Guittard they would not be considered a distributor because they are the manufacturer.
Use Other Ingredient Suppliers for companies that sell ingredients (e.g., vanilla, sugar, flavorings) other than finished chocolate or semi-finished product (nib, liquor, powder, butter).
