Chocolatiers (chocolate makers)

How To Use & What Goes On This Page:

  • A chocolatier is a chocolate maker, i.e., a company that makes finished chocolate (for eating and/or for sale to fondeurs) from bean or liquor.
  • Use the Directory Template as the starting point for all listings in this section. DO NOT add your listing to this page. Add a link in the correct category and create a new listing page.
  • Within each listing descriptors like size (micro-batch, industrial) and an indication of where each company's starting point is (e.g., works from beans (liquor), etc).
  • Here is the ICCO directory of chocolate manufacturers if anyone feels like expanding this list. Please note that the ICCO list is not an exemplar of a quality list as there are many companies listed that do not actually make chocolate.
  • If you do want to work on adding companies from the ICCO, TheobromaCacao.de, or other list(s) to this one, please e-mail me at docuwiki (at) thechocolatelife (dot) com to let me know.
